The first qualities that will strike you about Victoria are her warmth and genuineness. Known for her sensitivity, insight and perceptive responses, Victoria creates the trust you need to see yourself and your situation with greater clarity so you may shift unhealthy patterns and make choices in keeping with your values and goals.
Victoria has been practicing as a Registered Social Worker in British Columbia since 1993. She has over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, individual adults, couples and families in diverse settings, including community-based mental wellness programs, hospital clinics and private practice. Victoria is a guest lecturer at the University of British Columbia school of social work and supervises graduate students from social work and counselling psychology in their clinical practice. Additionally, she is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at UBC where she teaches and provides supervision and consultation in family therapy.
Victoria is well versed in a number of complementary therapeutic modalities including Emotionally Focused Couples, Emotionally Focused Family, Multigenerational, and Solution-focused therapies. She has also trained in several modalities for the treatment of individuals who have experienced interpersonal trauma including EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and AEDP.
Victoria is an approved provider for the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) and is able to see clients who qualify for counselling support.
Victoria works:
Wednesday – 3:30-8:30 pm, in-person sessions
Thursday & Friday - virtual sessions only
